Chicago alderman candidate Gregory Mitchell returns $2,000 contribution from Ujamaa Construction, Inc

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Gregory Mitchell, Friends of Greg Mitchell, returned a $2,000 contribution from Ujamaa Construction, Inc on Oct. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Ujamaa Construction, Inc has not made any other contributions to Gregory Mitchell in the past 12 months.
