governor candidate Bruce V Rauner returns $3,000 contribution from Adeeb Ahmed

The campaign committee of governor candidate Bruce V Rauner, Citizens for Rauner, Inc, returned a $3,000 contribution from Adeeb Ahmed on April 16, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Ahmed has not made any other contributions to Bruce V Rauner in the past 12 months.
