The following actions were taken on Jan. 29 in the House on House bill HR45 ("recognize-montford pnt marines"): "Resolution Adopted" and "Placed on Calendar Agreed Resolutions".

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Mary E. Flowers (D-31) on Jan. 18, "recognizes the past sacrifices of the the Montford Point Marines Association members, commends their continued contributions to their community, and urges the citizens of Illinois to support the Association as it struggles to fulfill its mission," according to the General Assembly website.
