3029 City of Chicago residents in their seventies test positive for COVID-19

As of May 27, there have been 3,029 City of Chicago residents in their seventies who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 18,244 residents in their seventies in the county who had been tested, meaning that 16 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through May 27, there have been 43,778 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 2,021 deaths from the coronavirus in City of Chicago.
