City of Chicago Community Development Commission met Aug. 13.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE APRIL 9TH CDC MEETING

III. NEW BUSINESS

A. ENGLEWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD TIF REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA (WARD 16)

Request authority to advertise the Department of Housing’s intention to enter into a negotiated sale with Hope Manor Village Housing, LP for the disposition of the property located at 5922, 5930, 5944, 5950, 6031, 6033, 6035, 6037 and 6050 S. Green Street; 5930, 5932, 5946, 5947, 5958 and 6106 S. Peoria Street; and 6101 S. Sangamon Street in the Englewood Neighborhood Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Project Area, to request alternative proposals, and to approve the sale of the property to Hope Manor Village Housing, LP if no responsive alternative proposals are received. 

B. MIDWEST TIF REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA (WARD 28)

Request authority for the Department of Housing to negotiate a redevelopment agreement with A Safe Haven Foundation for redevelopment of the City property located at 2908-12 and 2916-20 W. Roosevelt Road and 1143 S. Richmond Street plus the developer property located at 2924 W. Roosevelt Road and to recommend to the City Council of the City of Chicago the designation of A Safe Haven Foundation as Developer if no responsive alternative proposals are received. The commission approved the sale of the City property to the developer at the regular meeting held on October 9, 2018.
