74 percent of applicants to Saint Xavier University were admitted for fall 2018

At Saint Xavier University, 88 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 63 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Chicago enrolled 3,667 students in fall 2018, including 2,955 in undergraduate and 712 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

95 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 5 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (40 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (39 percent).

The school admitted 74 percent of the 7,917 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 12 percent enrolled.
