City of Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board met Aug. 25.

The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. remotely via Zoom, https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85264942434 or by calling (312) 626-6799 Meeting ID: 852 6494 2434, to consider the following zoning application:
Zoning Application #20-07. An application requesting rezoning of the property located at 303 E. Front Street from the C-4 Commercial Business District to the I-1 Institutional District with a special use permit for a Building Primarily Devoted to Religious Worship. The existing building would be occupied by Clapham School (Pre-K to Grade 12), Stars Resale Shop, and would provide additional religious ministry space for College Church. The religious ministry space would include offices, conference rooms, storage spaces and several areas for larger group collaborations. The special use further requests that some of the required parking for the proposed uses on the subject property be provided on a separate zoning lot within 300 feet of the building or use served.
The application has been submitted by 303 E. Front Street LLC, an Illinois Liability Company whose sole member is College Church in Wheaton, an Illinois not for profit corporation, 332 E. Seminary Avenue, Wheaton, IL 60187.
The subject property is legally described as:
LOT 1 IN TOMS PRICE PLAT OF CONSOLIDATION OF LOTS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 AND 6 IN THE TOWN OF WHEATON, IN SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED AUGUST 28, 2001 AS DOCUMENT R2001-182235 IN THE RECORDER’S OFFICE OF DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
