ADVOCATE TRINITY HOSPITAL: In Need Of Volunteers For Upcoming COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

Volunteering

Advocate Trinity Hospital issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.

Are you or someone you know looking for volunteer opportunities? We’re in need of volunteers at Advocate Health Care locations across IL at our upcoming COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics that will be open seven days a week with evening hours. Your work as a volunteer in our hospitals and clinics is invaluable.

At this time, we are in need of volunteers in the following areas:

• Ambassadors to greet/escort patients

• Helping patients with registration

• Wiping down chairs/vaccine areas

• Stocking supplies

All volunteers serving onsite for these clinics will be offered the COVID vaccine. It is not mandatory, but all onsite volunteers are eligible. The safety of our patients, team members and volunteers is our top priority. With our Safe Care Promise, masks are required, and daily screenings, social distancing and enhanced cleaning protocols are in place. In addition, volunteers do not enter COVID patient rooms; volunteers receive safety training to orient them to our Safe Care Promise and the COVID protection; there are shorter shift times for volunteers, along with other safe practices.
