Motion that the Village Board consider this the first reading of “An OrdinanceGranting Text Amendments to the Code of Ordinances for The Village of CherryValley, Illinois Sections 82-281, 82-282, and 82-283 Industrial Districts; Sections 82-181 and 82-182 Agricultural Districts – Special Uses and Section 82-3 Definitions.”(Solar Farms)

2. Motion that the Village Board consider this the first reading of “An OrdinanceAmending the Code of Ordinances for The Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, Chapter6 – Advertising”. (Sections 6-36, 6-37 and 6-38).(The revised Sign Ordinance).

1. Motion that the Village Board award the bid for the Cherry Valley North StreetMaintenance 2021 Improvements to Schroeder Asphalt Services, Inc. Huntley, Illinois, as the lowest responsive bidder, in the amount of $108,927.63. This is from line item 5390 Capital Improvements, from the village’s FY2021-2022 Budget.

2. Motion that the Village Board approve a one-year renewal of theIntergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the Village of Cherry Valley and theCity of Rockford regarding Annual City-Wide Pavement Marking (Paint) beginningMarch 31, 2021 to March 30, 2022.

3. Village Board discussion and a motion to authorize Public Works Employees GarrettAnderson and Andy Wesseln to attend the Cross-Connection Control DeviceInspector Certification Training on September 14 -September 17, 2021 in Rockford,IL at a cost of $575.00 from line item 5195 Water.

Planning And Development Report By Trustee: David Schroeder.

1. Motion that the Village Board approve a contract with Melrose Pyrotechnics for the4th of July Fireworks Show for 2021 at a cost of $11,500.00 from line item 5360Administration.

2. Motion that the Village Board approve a one-year extension of the MelrosePyrotechnics Fireworks Contract until July 4, 2022 at a cost of $23,000 from line item 5360 Administration.
