Chicago Area Gay And Lesbian Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Apr. 10.
Building on The LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois’s Industry Week that was held last year, a collaborative effort has built Industry Week: Creating Connections Across the Region, a 5-day series tackling different topics focused on what businesses and those they employ are experiencing during this pandemic that will bring together LGBTQ+ and allied business owners, employees, and chamber stakeholders from throughout the North Region of the NGLCC affiliate network and beyond.
Industry Week topics will include:
Monday, April 12: Reimagining Workspaces: From Office Space to Home Base
Tuesday, April 13: This Too Shall Pass - How Our Hospitality and Tourism Industries Will Adjust
Wednesday, April 14: Bouncing Back- Economic Outlook for Businesses in 2021
Thursday, April 15: Creating Impact: Starting Your Corporate LGBTQ+ Inclusion Program
Friday, April 16: Standing Out While Sitting in Your Home Office: Marketing and Branding Tips
This five-day series will tackle a different topic each day. From economic outlooks to innovative ways to be inclusive in the workplace to the new ways we do business in and out of the home, we will present industry experts and thought leaders from the region to create conversations that matter right now. Each day there will be a different hour-long topical discussion followed by a half hour of virtual networking where you can meet others.
