About the Crime:
On Friday October 14, 2022 at about 0126 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a blue in color sedan in the block of 301 E 87th Street. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene to render aid and exchange information. Per evidence on the scene, the striking vehicle is a blue in color 2017 Chevrolet Impala. The striking vehicle continued to travel eastbound on 87th Street with damage expected on the left front area of the vehicle. This may include a missing
driver's side view mirror along with the housing for the mirror. The Chicago Police Department needs the help of the community to solve this Hit and Run. The wanted vehicle will be similar to the photo shown. This is a stock photo and not the actual vehicle.
