About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to residents of recent armed robberies. In these incidents, armed offenders approached the victims on the street and demand property while armed with a hand gun. The offenders fled in and then drove away in a stolen Black Kia portage.
Incident time and location:
• October 25, 2022 10:15 am 600 block of West 95th St.
• October 25, 2022 10:37 am 2200 block of West 92nd St.
• October 25, 2022 1:10 pm 9100 block of South Wallace St.
Offender description:
Two to Three male blacks, 16-25 years old, 5'07-6', wearing hooded sweatshirts.
Possibly wearing surgical style or N95 masks.
It was documented that the Offenders on 2 occasions fled in a stolen 2020 Black Kia
Sportage possibly with rear passenger window broken out.
What you can do:
• Always be aware of your surroundings
• If you are confronted by an assailant remain calm
• Remember any unique physical characteristics (scars, limp, acne, teeth, etc.)
• Remember vehicle information, make, model, color, license plate when safely possible
• Dial 9-1-1 immediately and remain on scene when safely possible
