CSU Men and Women Take On Air Force Saturday

Box Score The Chicago State men's tennis team lost to Idaho 5-2 Friday in a neutral-site match at the USAFA Indoor Tennis Courts in USAF Academy, Colorado. Hugo Hidalgo Vega (No. 2) and Percy Siercke (No. 6) earned singles wins with Siercke pulling out a 14-12 third-set win for the victory.

"Idaho is a really good team from top to bottom," head coach Jack Barton said. "I thought we played well, but it would have been a bit closer if we could execute those things we have control of. It's tough to play 7000 feet above sea level. Conditions are really different but we have no excuses. We just have to do what we can, adjust and play better tomorrow."

Both the men's and women's tennis teams will be in action Saturday, taking on Air Force at the USAFA Indoor Tennis Courts in USAF Academy, Colorado. The men are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. while the women are slated for 4 p.m.
