Jon Luers, the 10th District Illinois Senate candidate, has taken a strong position against mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, echoing recent statements by Florida State Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo. Aligning with an increasing number of officials and candidates, Luers advocates for the removal of these vaccines from the market due to concerns over adverse events and their questionable efficacy.

“In recognition of numerous reports of serious adverse events and highly questionable efficacy following mRNA COVID “vaccine” injections (see https://drbowden.substack.com/p/covid-shot-fact-sheet...), I am in agreement with the recent statement released by Dr. Joseph Ladapo, Surgeon General of Florida that ‘mRNA COVID-19 ... vaccines are not appropriate for use in human beings’ (https://www.floridahealth.gov/.../20240103-halt-use...),” Luers said on Facebook.

Dr. Ladapo has persistently raised concerns about the safety assessments of Pfizer and Moderna's COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. In a letter to FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert M. Califf and CDC Director Dr. Mandy Cohen, he emphasized worries about nucleic acid contaminants, particularly Simian Virus 40 (SV40) promoter/enhancer DNA, in lipid nanoparticle complexes. He also pointed out potential risks of DNA integration into human cells, citing the FDA’s own 2007 guidance on DNA vaccines.

Ladapo criticized the FDA's response as lacking evidence regarding assessments on DNA integration risks. Consequently, he called for a halt in the use of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines until these risks are thoroughly evaluated.

"Providers concerned about patient health risks associated with COVID-19 should prioritize patient access to non-mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and treatment," Ladapo stated in a press release. “It is my hope that, in regard to COVID-19, the FDA will one day seriously consider its regulatory responsibility to protect human health, including the integrity of the human genome.”

Dr. Mary Talley Bowden's recent fact sheet outlines arguments for the removal of COVID shots from the market. The document addresses concerns related to All Cause Mortality (ACM), classification of COVID shots, improper testing, Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), and safety and efficacy of alternative treatments. It also raises questions about the rapid development of COVID shots, conflicts of interest within the medical industry, and emphasizes public awareness amid reported adverse events.

“We now have 65 candidates, 47 elected officials and 1 Surgeon General from 25 states publicly stating the COVID shots must be pulled off the market,” Bowden said on X. “Many are also pledging not to take donations from Big Pharma. Over 17,000 physicians stand behind them.”

“Ask your representative why they aren't on the list.”

Luers is a seasoned software engineer with four decades of experience running for the 10th District Illinois Senate. Dissatisfied with Democratic leadership in Illinois and nationally, he believes more people are recognizing their lack of genuine concern for well-being and are ready for substantial change. According to his website, Luers criticizes his opponent State Sen. Robert Martwick as a clone of Mike Madigan profiting from a property tax appeals business while taxes rise. He also expresses concern about public schools in Illinois which he describes as "ridiculously expensive and ineffective," attributing these challenges to teachers' unions and highlighting the negative impact of Covid lockdowns on education.
