Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board for first reading AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF CHERRY VALLEY, ILLINOIS TO ADOPT SECTION 5/1-2.1-1 OF THE ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL CODE AND AMEND VARIOUS ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF CHERRY VALLEY’S CODE OF ORDINANCES TO REFLECT SUCHADOPTION.

ENGINEER’S REPORT:

1. Project Updates from Adam Bunge C.E.S. INC.

1. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board approval of a single phase 120V circuit from the Panel at the Baumann Park Bathrooms to the Gate Opener for the Dog Park that includes directional drilling (boring), breaker, wire, conduit, etc. from IKON Electric, Loves Park, IL at a cost of $12,154.01 from line item 5410 Park Improvements.

CHAIRMAN’S REPORT:

EX-OFFICIO’S RECREATION BOARD REPORT:

1. Motion that the Committee of the Whole approve up to $700.00 for the village’s Annual Easter Candy Scramble to be held on March 30, 2024 in Baumann Park from line item 5260 Buildings and Grounds. 

PUBLIC SAFETY – CHAIRMAN TRUSTEE JEFF FUSTIN.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Motion that the Committee of the Whole send to the Village Board approval to purchase and replace an existing Stalker Radar Unit in Squad 7 with a new Stalker Radar Unit (some of the LEDs are burnt out) from STALKER radar | applied concepts, inc. Richardson, Texas at a cost of $2,645.00 from line item 5375 Police.

2. Motion that the Committee of the Whole send to the Village Board approval to purchase additional lighting for Squad 1 so this vehicle is more visible (Installation is included) from SAE Customs, Inc. Round Lake, Illinois at a cost of $1,532.74 from line item 5125 Police.

3. Motion that the Committee of the Whole send to the Village Board approval of (3) speaker microphones for portable radios from Motorola Solutions, Inc. Chicago, Illinois at a cost of $1,111.65 from line item 5375 Police.

4. Committee discussion regarding the submittal of an IL DECO (Illinois Department of Economic Opportunity) Grant regarding the creation of a Unified Command Center at the Cherry Valley Police Department.
