On Saturday, January 27, former Moline High School standout, Grant Welch’s current college team, the UIC Flames, lost 65-74 in their NCAA D1 game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place in Nashville, Tennessee. This was the first matchup against the Belmont Bruins this season.

The UIC Flames’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, January 31 at 7 p.m. in Evansville, Indiana.
