On Sunday, March 3, former Pontiac Township High School standout Makayla Metz’s current college team, the Saint Xavier Cougars, won 8-2 in their NAIA game against the Campbellsville Tigers.

The game took place in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This was their first matchup against the Campbellsville Tigers this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 at 11 a.m. in Lawrenceville, Georgia against Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies.
