On Friday, February 16, former Libertyville High School standout Gavin Bennett’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I game against the Akron Zips.

The game took place in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This was their second matchup against the Akron Zips this season.
