PRESIDENT’S REPORT: DAVID SCHROEDER
1. Motion that the Village Board approve the re-appointment of Mr. Steve Reuss to the village’s Police Pension Board effective May 12, 2024 for a two-year term.
2. Motion that the Village Board approve a Special Event Permit for PAWS Humane Society, 7282 N CherryVale Mall Drive, Rockford, Illinois to hold a Flea Market in their parking lot on June 22, 2024. They are requesting the fees be waived as they are a not-for-profit organization.
3. Presentation of Village of Cherry Valley Advisory Committees, Standing Committees and Appointments for FY 2024-2025.
4. Proclamation – Motorcycle Awareness Month.
5. Proclamation – National Police Week.
6. Proclamation – National Public Works Week.
7. Motion that the Village Board authorize Village President David Schroeder to sign an Indemnification Agreement with the CherryVale Mall, Rockford, Illinois regarding use of the Mall premises for the Northern Illinois Police Memorial Week Event from Friday May 17, 2024 through Sunday May 19, 2024.

ORDINANCE REPORT BY TRUSTEE NANCY BELT:
1. Motion that the Village Board waive the rules and consider this the second and final reading of “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 26, BUSINESSES, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE VILLAGE OF CHERRY VALLEY, ILLINOIS TO PROVIDE FOR THE REGULATION AND LICENSING OF MOBILE FOOD TRUCKS AND VENDORS”. 1.
2. Motion that the Village Board pass and approve Ordinance 2024-10: “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 26, BUSINESSES, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE VILLAGE OF CHERRY VALLEY, ILLINOIS TO PROVIDE FOR THE REGULATION AND LICENSING OF MOBILE FOOD TRUCKS AND VENDORS”.
3. Village Board discussion and a motion that the Village Board consider this the first reading of “AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF CHERRY VALLEY, ILLINOIS APPROVING REAL ESTATE CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE AND SALE OF LAND WITH THOMAS CHURCHILL”.

PUBLIC SAFETY REPORT BY TRUSTEE JEFF FUSTIN:
1. Motion that the Village Board approve the purchase of an additional Display Monitor (and associated hardware) for the Unified Command Center from Primetime Audio Video, Rockford, Illinois from line item 5400 Capital Improvements.
2. Motion that the Village Board approve the purchase of a three-year extended warranty and additional media storage for the Police Department’s Skydio Drone from Axon Enterprise, Inc. Scottsdale, Arizona at a cost of $1,732.73 from 5400 Capital Improvements.
FINANCE REPORT BY TRUSTEE BRANDI PEARSE:
1. Motion that the Village Board approve the Annual Statement of all monies collected and expended by the Village of Cherry Valley on behalf of the Cherry Valley Police Pension Fund (CVPPF).
