Former John Hancock College Preparatory High School player and current Saint Mary's Cardinals outfielder and pitcher, Ariel Herrera, will compete in the NCAA D3 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the second seeded DePauw Tigers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
