CHICAGO (July 2, 2024) — Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese will represent the Sky in the 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, Arizona, the league announced today. She will play for Team WNBA against Team USA in the All-Star matchup.

Reese, the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, currently leads the league in total rebounds per game (11.4) and offensive rebounds per game (4.8). She also holds the league record for consecutive double-doubles in a single season, with an active streak spanning 10 games.

Reese joins Candice Dupree (2006), Courtney Vandersloot (2011), and Elena Delle Donne (2013) as one of only four players in Sky history to be named an All-Star in their first season. She is the 15th Sky player to receive this honor.

Reese is also noted as the third player in Sky history to average a double-double for a full season, joining Courtney Vandersloot and Sylvia Fowles. Her performance on June 20, where she recorded 18 rebounds, marks a franchise record for a rookie in a single game.

The selection process for Team WNBA began with votes from fans, a national panel of sports broadcasters and writers, and current WNBA players, concluding on June 29. Fans contributed 50 percent of the votes while media and players each accounted for 25 percent.

Following this voting period, any top-10 vote-getter not already named to the USA Women’s National Team roster was automatically assigned to Team WNBA. The remaining spots were filled by votes from the league’s 12 head coaches.

This year marks the second time that the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game will feature a USA Basketball vs. Team WNBA format since its introduction in 2021.

The league’s 20th All-Star Game will commence at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, July 20 at Footprint Center and will be broadcast on ABC. Additional events throughout All-Star Weekend can be found online.

The Sky face off against the Atlanta Dream tonight at Gateway Center Arena at 6 p.m. CT on WMEU-TV, Marquee Sports Network App, and CBS Sports Network.
