Chicago Fire FC II secured a 2-0 victory over Toronto FC II on Wednesday afternoon at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. The match saw goals from Omari Glasgow and Sergio Oregel, with goalkeeper Patrick Los earning his third clean sheet of the season.

Chicago pressed early in the first half but created few chances. In the tenth minute, Glasgow's attempt narrowly missed the near post. Later, Christian Koffi’s shot was blocked by a Toronto defender. Both teams went into halftime without scoring.

Seconds into the second half, Koffi found space on the left wing and sent a cross to Glasgow, who scored the opening goal. Toronto responded with a long-range shot from Charlie Staniland that required a save from Los. Jaylen Shannon then cleared Jesús Batiz's rebound effort off the line.

In the 65th minute, Koffi passed back to Oregel, who volleyed from over 20 yards out to score Chicago's second goal. The defense held firm for Chicago's seventh win of 2024, tying them with FC Cincinnati 2 for second place in the Eastern Conference.
