Chicago Fire FC will face Inter Miami CF on Saturday, August 31, at 7:30 p.m. CT at Soldier Field. The match is presented by Lou Malnati’s and can be watched on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV or listened to in English on WLS 890 AM and in Spanish on WRTO 1200 AM.
Due to the anticipated high volume of fans, parking at Soldier Field will be limited. Fans are encouraged to use rideshare or public transportation. Parking lots open at 3:30 PM, and fans with parking passes should park in their designated lots.
Lou Malnati’s, the presenting partner for this match, will host pre-match activities outside Soldier Field at Burnham Downs. Fans can participate in tailgate-style games, win free pizza for a year, and receive special coupons. The first 20,000 fans entering Soldier Field will have a chance to upgrade their seats to Fieldside Seats. Additionally, Lou Malnati’s will provide coupons for a free medium cheese pizza to 10,000 fans post-match.
The Heineken Tailgate begins at 4:00 PM on the South Lawn of Soldier Field with entertainment from DJs Nosike and GloUpJake until 7:00 PM. Activities include lawn games and giveaways from Chicago Fire partners such as Lou Malnati’s and Caterpillar. Food trucks and sampling from BODYARMOR, Celsius, and Heineken will also be available.
Inside the stadium's South Courtyard, various games like FIFA and Giant Jenga will be offered once gates open. Fans can also participate in the Kickin’ It with Carvana challenge for a chance to win a co-branded Chicago Fire-wrapped Tesla Model Y. Brad Relich will perform on the Dr. Pepper patio stage starting at 5:30 PM until kickoff with an encore during halftime.
The MLS NEXT Cup champions Chicago Fire U15 squad will make an appearance before kickoff for photo opportunities.
Executive Chef Ryan Craig introduces the Fuego Bird Sandwich exclusively for this match. Priced at $15, it features a buttermilk-brined chicken filet fried and dunked in habanero hot sauce topped with charred pineapple relish served on a brioche bun.
Post-match entertainment includes a performance by Jason Derulo starting approximately 30 minutes after the final whistle on the west sideline stage presented by Heineken Silver.
For entry into Soldier Field, clear bags smaller than 12" x 6" x 12" are allowed along with small clutch bags under 4.5" x 6.5". Backpacks must also be clear and meet size restrictions.
