Village of Rosemont Zoning Board of Appeals met Sept. 16

C. Restaurant Special Use, Side Yard Variance – 9902 Berwyn, Rosemont, IL.

The application of the Village of Rosemont for property located at 9902 Berwyn, Rosemont, IL. to allow: (a) a Special Use for the establishment and operation of an approximately 10,000 interior square foot restaurant in the D Commercial District with an additional covered patio of approximately 3,000 square feet; and (b) a variance from the 0 foot side yard requirement to authorize a canopy to encroach over the sidewalk of the Berwyn Street right-of-way as depicted in the site plan submitted to the Zoning Board of Appeals. The property that is the subject of these requests is legally described as follows:

LOT 2 OF THE FINAL PLAT OF RESUBDIVISION OF LOT 5 OF THE PEARL STREET STATION BEING A SUBDIVISION IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 40, RANGE 12 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS RECORDED AS DOCUMENT 1719329107 ON JULY 12, 2017.

The Application of the Village of Rosemont for a variance from the sign restrictions contained in the Village of Rosemont Sign Ordinance for the property located at 9900 Berwyn, Rosemont IL. to permit the construction and operation of the painted wall signage, entry signage, back-lit rooftop signage visible from the Tollway, and changeable wall banner signage for events for the Expressions building as located and depicted in the sign package prepared by Gravity Architecture and Design LLC. and submitted to the Zoning Board of Appeals. (PINs: 12-09-217-002-0000 and part of 12-09-217-003-0000)
