Chicago Fire FC's Brian Gutiérrez and Chris Brady have been recognized in the 2024 22 Under 22 list presented by BODYARMOR, as announced by the League. This marks the second consecutive year both players have made it onto this annual list, with Gutiérrez ranked fourth and Brady thirteenth.

The list highlights top young talent under the age of 22 across the League, selected by a panel including MLS coaches, general managers, sporting directors, MLS Season Pass Talent, and select media. Chicago Fire is one of only five clubs to have multiple players on this year's list.

Gutiérrez has had an impressive season with six goals for the Fire in 2024, setting a personal best. His nine goal contributions (six goals and three assists) in 31 appearances rank him among the top performers for his team. Earlier this season, he matched Harry Shipp’s record for most goals by a Homegrown Player in Club history.

Brady has been solid as a goalkeeper for Chicago Fire FC, making 32 starts this season. He is noted for being the only goalkeeper on this year's list and has achieved career-high saves at 104 in 2024. Brady also became the winningest Homegrown goalkeeper in Fire history with his performance against LA Galaxy earlier this year.

Both Gutiérrez and Brady started their professional careers after being promoted from the Chicago Fire Academy at age 16 at the beginning of the 2020 MLS season. Since then, Gutiérrez has played over 100 matches for Chicago Fire FC while Brady has consistently started all his appearances over three seasons.

The team's regular-season finale will be against Nashville SC on October 19 at Soldier Field.
