Chicago Fire FC will host Nashville SC at Soldier Field in the final match of the 2024 MLS regular season. The game, scheduled for Saturday evening at 5:00 p.m. CT, will be available globally on MLS Season Pass and locally broadcast on WLS 890 AM in English and WRTO 1200 AM in Spanish.

Nashville SC arrives in Chicago out of playoff contention, hoping to end a four-game winless streak following a recent 3-1 loss to New York City FC on October 6. Chicago Fire returns after their last appearance against Charlotte FC on October 2, where they suffered a narrow defeat with a score of 4-3 despite goals from Fabian Herbers, Kellyn Acosta, and Tom Barlow.

Head Coach Frank Klopas has made six changes to the lineup since their last game against Charlotte FC. Kellyn Acosta will captain the team for his 27th start this season and his overall participation in his 34th match of the year. Chris Brady is set to start his record-breaking 33rd regular season match this year.

Hugo Cuypers continues his streak with his 30th start of the season. Arnaud Souquet starts his 17th consecutive match for Chicago Fire. Brian Gutiérrez makes his career-high sixth goal this year with his 25th start. Jonathan Dean will make his second consecutive start while Mauricio Pineda returns to the starting lineup for the first time since June.

Tobias Salquist, Federico Navarro, Chris Mueller, and Maren Haile-Selassie also feature prominently in today's lineup adjustments due to various circumstances including injuries sidelining players such as Chase Gasper, Andrew Gutman, Wyatt Omsberg, and Fabian Herbers.

Coach Klopas's bench options include goalkeeper Spencer Richey; defenders Allan Arigoni, Rafael Czichos; Justin Reynolds; Carlos Terán; midfielders Gastón Giménez; Ariel Lassiter; forwards Tom Barlow; Georgios Koutsias.
