Seven players from the Chicago Red Stars have been called up to represent their countries during the October international window. Rosella Ayane, Julia Grosso, Natalia Kuikka, Ludmila, Alyssa Naeher, and Mallory Swanson will be participating in various international matches.

Alyssa Naeher and Mallory Swanson will join the United States team. Naeher returns after a successful Olympic campaign where she became the first goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet in both a World Cup Final and an Olympic gold medal match. She has re-signed with the Red Stars through 2025 and has had an impressive season with Chicago. Swanson also had a strong Olympic performance, scoring key goals for Team USA.

Ludmila will play for Brazil after winning silver at the Olympics. She signed with the Red Stars during the tournament and has since played consistently for Chicago. Julia Grosso will join Canada's national team ahead of a friendly against Spain. This marks her first call-up as a Red Star following her signing announcement in July.

Rosella Ayane is set to represent Morocco in two friendlies. She is on loan from Tottenham Hotspur FC and made history as the first Moroccan player in the NWSL. Natalia Kuikka will compete with Finland in UEFA Women’s European Championship qualifying matches against Montenegro.

Sydney Schneider joins Jamaica for another round of international duty after previously playing in June. The Jamaican team will face France on October 25.

The Chicago Red Stars are scheduled to play against Washington Spirit on October 20 before these players return for their regular-season finale on November 3 against Kansas City Current at SeatGeek Stadium.
