Chicago, IL - The Chicago Hounds are gearing up for their week seven match against the Carolina Anthem at SeatGeek Stadium. Head Coach Sam Harris has announced a 23-man roster, making strategic changes following their recent victory in New Orleans.

The front row sees Paddy Ryan stepping in as tighthead prop, replacing Ignacio Peculo who will rest on the reserve bench. Charlie Abel and Dylan Fawsitt maintain their positions. Fawsitt's impressive performance last week included scoring two tries, raising his Major League Rugby (MLR) career total to 43.

Fred Apulu and Janus Venter remain on the bench. While Apulu did not play last week, Venter marked his MLR debut with a try.

This week's lineup features a new second row configuration. Ben Landry and George Merrick have been selected over Mason Flesch and James Scott, who are absent from the roster this week. Reserves Brad Tucker and Mike Matarazzo offer flexibility in both second and back rows.

Lucas Rumball takes on the blindside flanker role after starting at openside flanker last week. Mac Jones shifts to No. 7, allowing vice-captain Luke White to start at No. 8 for his 71st MLR cap.

Jason Higgins is named starting scrum half for the first time this season, having previously appeared off the bench in Week Three against Old Glory DC. Michael Baska provides backup from the bench.

In midfield adjustments, Bryce Campbell joins the starting lineup after missing previous games, replacing Mark O’Keeffe at outside center. Adriaan Carelse continues as flyhalf for a third consecutive game, contributing to Chicago's recent scoring success.

Captain Billy Meakes completes the midfield setup following his Weekly First XV selection against Gold. Caolan Dooley is set to earn his third MLR cap from reserve duty.

Julian Dominguez returns to start on the left wing, aiming to continue his try-scoring streak from earlier matches this season. Nate Augspurger will make his sixth start on the right wing following a standout performance in New Orleans. Dave Kearney retains his fullback position while rookie Noah Brown awaits an opportunity from the bench after starting recently against Seattle and New Orleans.
