Head Coach Sam Harris and his team have finalized the lineup for the Chicago Hounds' home opener against the New England Free Jacks on Sunday. The match marks week four of the 2024 Major League Rugby season, with Dawg Town welcoming fans back. The event begins with parking at 10:30 AM, gates opening at noon, and the game starting at 1 PM.
In the front row, Zurabi Zhvania and Ignacio Peculo will take their positions as props. Zhvania has scored in consecutive games while Peculo is recognized with an MLR First XV selection. Dylan Fawsitt returns to start as hooker after making an impact off the bench last week.
Fred Apulu moves to the bench following a strong debut start, joined by Charlie Abel and Guillermo Pujadas who also showed promise in previous matches. George Merrick and James Scott continue their partnership in the second row, while Mason Flesch shifts back to blindside flanker.
