Major League Rugby (MLR) and Macron have announced a new partnership, aligning the U.S. rugby league with a renowned sports apparel brand. The collaboration will see Macron providing apparel support to MLR, including Match Kits, Training Kits, and Fanwear for each team. Macron is also the official apparel partner for European Professional Club Rugby and several national teams.

Nic Benson, CEO and Commissioner of MLR, described the agreement as "a landmark" that will aid in the growth of rugby in the U.S., especially with upcoming events like the 2028 Olympics and 2031 Rugby World Cup. He stated, "By partnering with Macron...we are bringing American rugby together to grow, to compete and to win."

Macron's CEO Gianluca Pavanello expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing their experience in rugby. He said, "Rugby is our home...The work we are doing in the U.S. sports market is bearing fruit."

Both MLR and USA Rugby (USAR) have been successful in promoting rugby in the U.S., evidenced by a record crowd at the MLR Championship in San Diego and a Bronze Medal for the U.S. women’s team at the 2024 Olympics.
