The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) has announced that its Small Business Resource Centers at O’Hare and Midway International Airports are now open five days a week with expanded walk-in hours. This initiative aims to support local businesses in their efforts to collaborate with the airports.

“The CDA is committed to empowering diverse local businesses in their efforts to work with O’Hare and Midway,” said CDA Commissioner Jamie L. Rhee. “Through these centers, we are transforming our world-class airports into powerful engines of investment in Chicago’s neighborhoods, fostering local economic growth, creating opportunities for underrepresented communities, and giving local entrepreneurs the resources they need to build generational wealth.”

The Midway Small Business Resource Center is located at 5642 S. Central Ave., while the O’Hare Bid Room and Small Business Resource Center can be found at 10510 W. Zemke Road. The contact numbers for these centers are 773-838-0829 for Midway and 773-894-3730 for O'Hare.

Both centers welcome walk-ins from Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and noon, and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Appointments are available from noon to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The services offered by the Small Business Resource Centers include one-on-one assistance for companies interested in doing business with the airports, networking events for airport vendors, workshops on contract requirements, airfield tours for construction contractors, and printed resource guides for potential contractors.
