State Representative Bradley Stephens (IL) | Representative Brad Stephens (R) 20th District Assistant Republican Leader
State Representative Brad Stephens, a Republican from Rosemont, has been sworn in for his third full term in the Illinois House of Representatives. The inauguration ceremony took place as part of the commencement of the 104th General Assembly. Stephens first joined the House in 2019 through an appointment.
Stephens expressed gratitude for the opportunity to continue serving the 20th District. "It is an honor to serve the constituents of the 20th District for another General Assembly in Springfield," he stated. He emphasized his commitment to working collaboratively across party lines and addressing significant issues affecting families this spring.
Reflecting on past legislative sessions, Stephens acknowledged ongoing challenges but remained optimistic about future progress. "With the last General Assembly finally behind us, there is much work to do for the hardworking people of the 20th District," he said. He highlighted his focus on financial relief and enhancing community safety.
The 20th District encompasses areas such as Norridge, Rosemont, Schiller Park, Franklin Park, Harwood Heights, River Grove, and several Chicago neighborhoods including Norwood Park, Edison Park, Belmont Heights, and Oriole Park.
