On February 10, 2025, Quigley criticized the priorities of Republicans in Congress and the Trump-Vance Administration regarding their stance on LGBTQI+ issues. He expressed his concerns by stating that "Republicans in Congress & the Trump-Vance Admin are more concerned with attacking the LGBTQI+ community than they are with fixing any real problems."
