Chicago Hounds Head Coach Chris Latham has announced the leadership team for the 2025 Major League Rugby season. Hooker Dylan Fawsitt and back row Lucas Rumball have been appointed as captains, while lock James Scott and center Bryce Campbell will serve as vice captains.

Fawsitt has been named club captain. He is a veteran in Major League Rugby with 98 caps and 55 tries, leading the league in both categories. After joining the Hounds last season, Fawsitt led the team in tries with 14 and received a first-team All-Pro accolade. Defensively, he has completed over 100 tackles each season for the past four years.

Rumball will be acting as gameday captain, responsible for on-field communication with officials. The Canadian National team captain was signed by the Hounds in December 2023 and recently extended his contract. Last season, he made twelve appearances with five starts and achieved a tackle success rate of 95%.

James Scott enters his second year with the Hounds after joining from Jersey Reds in December 2023. In 2024, he earned Second-Team All-Pro honors by starting all of his 17 appearances, accumulating significant playing time and defensive statistics.

Bryce Campbell returns to a leadership role after previously serving as captain during the team's inaugural season in 2023. In 2024, he started most of his games and demonstrated strong performance metrics.

The Chicago Hounds will begin their new season against the Houston Sabercats this Saturday night at ESPN+ at 7:00 PM central.
