The Female Athletic Directors of the Central Suburban League recently hosted the inaugural EmpowerHER event, a conference focused on female empowerment. The event featured a keynote address by ESPN's Sarah Spain and a breakout session led by Patrice Whitfield, LCPC, a sports psychotherapist from the Chicago Sky.
Organizers expressed gratitude to their partners for supporting this initiative aimed at nurturing future leaders. "We were honored to have ESPN’s Sarah Spain deliver an inspiring keynote," they stated. Additionally, they highlighted Whitfield's contribution: "Chicago Sky’s very own Patrice Whitfield, LCPC, sports psychotherapist, led an engaging breakout session."
