On Thursday, March 20 former Whitney M. Young Magnet High School Xavier Amos competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Thursday, March 20, former Whitney M. Young Magnet High School standout Xavier Amos’ current collegiate team the Wisconsin Badgers won 85-66 against the Montana Grizzlies in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Ball Arena, this was the first game against the Montana Grizzlies during the championship.

The Wisconsin Badgers’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 5:45 p.m. in Ball Arena against BYU Cougars.

Xavier Amos’ hometown is Chicago and game position is forward.
