CHICAGO – Chicago Fire FC II will face off against Huntsville City FC at Joe Davis Stadium this Sunday, April 20. The match, part of the Eastern Conference schedule, kicks off at 6 p.m. CT and will be available for streaming on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

After a 3-2 defeat against New York Red Bulls II, Chicago Fire FC II is ready to return to competition. Dylan Borso, a Homegrown midfielder, scored his first goal of 2025 in that match. However, despite Borso's efforts, the team couldn't overcome their opponents.

Huntsville City FC, who won against Chicago in the opening week, has struggled to secure a win in regulation since. Their recent encounter with Crown Legacy FC ended in a 1-1 draw, but the team managed to obtain an additional point with a 4-3 victory in a subsequent shootout.

Sunday's match marks the fifth meeting between Chicago and Huntsville, with both teams having a balanced record against each other. In previous contests, Chicago lost their home game in March but emerged victorious during their visits to Huntsville.

Borso, with his background from Wake Forest University, is recognized for his attacking skills, which he demonstrated by earning a spot on the ACC All-Freshman team. Meanwhile, Peter Soudan, from the Chicago Fire Academy, has been a significant contributor this season, leading the team in key passes and assists.

In addition to individual highlights, Chicago Fire FC II will commemorate its 85th regular season match on Sunday. The team has a longstanding history of success in MLS NEXT Pro, with significant achievements over the past four seasons.

Claudio Cassano, a notable player for Chicago Fire FC II, has made an impact in the league despite participating in only four matches.
