Chicago Fire FC II will face Orlando City B in their MLS NEXT Pro match on May 2 at Flames Field in Chicago. The game is set to start at 7 p.m. Central Time and fans can attend free of charge.
The venue, situated at the University of Illinois-Chicago campus, has hosted various soccer events since 1996, including UIC Men's and Women's Soccer games, and training sessions for teams like the MLS All-Star Team and national teams from the United States, Mexico, and Argentina. It was renovated in 2022 and now features a grass pitch, advanced irrigation and drainage systems, a new scoreboard, and a video board. The grandstand, seating 1,200 fans, allows a view of the Chicago skyline.
This match marks Chicago Fire II's first game outside of SeatGeek Stadium since the team's launch in 2022. Fans can enter the venue one hour before the game starts, and entry remains free. Venue policies regarding bags and prohibited items are available online.
Limited parking is accessible on Morgan Street and Roosevelt Road, with additional paid parking at UIC lot 5 at 1135 South Morgan Street.
