Chicago Fire FC midfielder Rominigue Kouamé has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday bench for Matchday 12. This recognition follows Chicago's 2-1 victory over Atlanta United FC on Saturday.

Kouamé earned his first Team of the Matchday honorable mention after scoring a decisive goal in the 86th minute, marking his first game-winning goal of the season. He entered the match in the 81st minute alongside Maren Haile-Selassie and Omari Glasgow. The trio collaborated effectively when Haile-Selassie passed a through ball to Glasgow, who then assisted Kouamé at the top of the six-yard box, allowing him to score his second goal of the season. Chicago maintained possession during stoppage time, securing their first home win of the regular season.
