Chicago Fire FC has announced a change of venue for two upcoming home matches due to scheduling conflicts with the Chicago Bears' 2025 NFL games. The matches, originally set for Soldier Field, will now take place at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. The affected dates are August 16 against St. Louis CITY SC and September 6 against New England Revolution.

According to the lease agreement with Soldier Field, the Fire cannot host games within five days of a Bears' home game. The Bears have scheduled a preseason game on August 17 and a regular season game on September 8 at Soldier Field. Additional changes may occur based on the full announcement of the Bears’ preseason schedule.

Ticket sales for these matches are currently paused and will resume on June 20. Existing ticket holders will find their tickets temporarily frozen as arrangements are made to relocate seats to SeatGeek Stadium. Fans who purchased directly from Chicago Fire will receive comparable seating at the new venue.

For those who bought tickets through third-party sites or Ticketmaster.com, refunds will be issued by the original point of sale, with an option to repurchase when sales reopen on June 20. Season Ticket Members and Premium Seating holders will receive further details from their representatives.
