Elliott scored his first goal for Chicago Fire FC during the match, marking his 11th career goal. His defensive contributions were crucial in helping the team achieve its third clean sheet this season. This accolade is Elliott's first with Chicago Fire, having previously been recognized while playing for Philadelphia Union.
Chris Brady, a native of Naperville, Illinois, made his second appearance on the MLS Team of the Matchday this year. He achieved his third all-time shutout against CF Montréal and contributed to Chicago Fire's seventh road victory of the season.
The upcoming match for Chicago Fire will be an Eastern Conference rematch against New York Red Bulls at Soldier Field. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be followed by a concert featuring Chance the Rapper as part of the Summer Concert Series presented by Café Bustelo.
