City of Wheaton Public Library Board Finance Committee met Sept. 29
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
I. Call to Order
Present in-person at roll call were Finance Committee Chair Christine Fenne, Steve Siemer, Robert Rammer and President Laurie Metanchuk. Library Director Betsy Adamowski and Library Finance/Business Office Manager Margaret Micheli Venckus were also present.
II. Citizens to be Heard
None
III. Discussion of Wheaton Public Library CY2026 Budget
Mrs. Adamowski went over the Library's CY2026 Budget, specifically revenue, personnel, increased cost concerns and resulting deficit. Mrs. Adamowski and Ms. Micheli Venckus answered members questions.
Mrs. Adamowski gave an overview of the Budget Presentation, taking suggestions from the committee members for modifications/clarifications.
Mr. Siemer left the meeting at 6:45pm.
Discussion continued.
IV. Adjournment
Dr. Rammer moved and Mrs. Metanchuk seconded to adjourn. A voice vote was taken and the motion for adjournment was carried at 6:55 p.m.
