Chicago announces $600K micro-grant initiative for youth programs
Today, Mayor Brandon Johnson and the Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) announced the recipients of the City of Chicago’s My CHI. My Future. (MCMF) Micro-Grant Program. SGA Youth & Family Services (SGA) will administer this inaugural program to community-based, youth-serving organizations focused on creating or enhancing opportunities for positive youth engagement on the South and West sides.

Illinois governor orders flags at half-staff for Peace Officers Memorial Day
The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from Governor JB Pritzker, directing all persons or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act to fly their flags at half-staff in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day. The United States flags and the State flags at all buildings occupied by your agency’s personnel are to be lowered from sunrise to sunset on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
