Tea Party of Illinois owes $5,000 in fines

The campaign committee Tea Party of Illinois owes a $0 fine imposed on June 4, 2012, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $5,000 with Michael Walowski listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 143 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $863,080 in pending fines.
