treasurer candidate Ameya Pawar returns $2,400 contribution from Margit Kir-Stimon

The campaign committee of treasurer candidate Ameya Pawar, Ameya Pawar for Governor, returned a $2,400 contribution from Margit Kir-Stimon on Dec. 14, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Kir-Stimon has not made any other contributions to Ameya Pawar in the past 12 months.
