Chicago alderman candidate Gilbert Villegas returns $1,000 contribution from All-Circo, Inc.

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Gilbert Villegas, Friends of Gilbert Villegas, returned a $1,000 contribution from All-Circo, Inc. on July 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. All-Circo, Inc. has not made any other contributions to Gilbert Villegas in the past 12 months.
