Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel returns $750 contribution from Adler Murphy & McQuillen LLP

The campaign committee of Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel, Chicago for Rahm Emanuel, returned a $750 contribution from Adler Murphy & McQuillen LLP on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Adler Murphy & McQuillen LLP has not made any other contributions to Rahm Emanuel in the past 12 months.
