On Tuesday, December 12, former North Lawndale Charter High School standout, Kenihja Newson’s current college team, the Malcolm X Hawks, won 61-48 in their NJCAA game against the Prairie State Pioneers.

The game took place in Chicago, Illinois. This was the first matchup against the Prairie State Pioneers this season.

The Malcolm X Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, December 16 at 2 p.m. in Cleveland, Ohio.
