Chicago Fire FC played to a 0-0 draw against the Portland Timbers in their second match of the Coachella Valley Invitational at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California. Jonathan Bamba, a Designated Player for Chicago, made his preseason debut and was active on the left wing during the first half.
