Chicago Fire FC is set to play against New York City FC at Yankee Stadium, marking the midpoint of their five-game road trip. The match is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CT and will be available globally on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV, with local broadcasts in English on wlsam.com and in Spanish on Que Buena Fire through the Uforia App.

Gregg Berhalter, Chicago Fire FC's Director of Football and Head Coach, has announced the Starting XI, maintaining the same lineup that secured a 4-1 victory over Charlotte FC on May 20. Midfielder Mauricio Pineda aims to reach 10,000 minutes in Major League Soccer during his 111th start for Chicago. He needs just 39 more minutes to become the club's 15th player to achieve this milestone.

Brian Gutiérrez continues his strong performance alongside Pineda and Sergio Oregerl Jr., marking their fourth consecutive MLS match together. Gutiérrez was recently named to the MLS Team of the Matchday following his performance against Charlotte. Andrew Gutman also joins him as another academy graduate named to the Team of the Matchday.

Jonathan Dean starts at right back for his eighth appearance this year, joining center backs Sam Rogers and Jack Elliott, who will captain today's game. Chris Brady is positioned as goalkeeper, seeking his third clean sheet in all competitions during his 77th regular season match for Chicago.

In attack, Jonathan Bamba makes his 14th start alongside Hugo Cuypers and Philip Zinckernagel. Both Cuypers and Zinckernagel scored in their recent U.S. Open Cup match against New England Revolution.

Unavailable players include defenders Carlos Terán and Chase Gasper due to lower body injuries; midfielders David Poreba (lower body) and Chris Mueller (not injury-related). The bench options for Berhalter include goalkeeper Jeff Gal; defenders Leonardo Barroso and Christopher Cupps; midfielders Rominigue Kouamé, Maren Haile-Selassie, Kellyn Acosta, Omari Glasgow, Dje D’Avilla; and forward Tom Barlow.
